½ day Lesedi Cultural Village Tour
Experience traditional African dance, the sound of beating drums, the smell of fire and ethnic African cuisine. Lesedi is a Sotho word that translates to “place of light”. This village displays the cultures of five different African cultures, namely the Basotho, Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi and Ndebele tribes all in their own separate working tribal villages.
½ day Big 5 Safari or Bushwalk in Dinokeng Game Reserve
Dinokeng is situated less than 1,5 hours drive from Johannesburg, making it ideal for a quick wildlife safari experience. The reserve is home to the famous Big 5 as well as an abundance of other fauna and flora, including cheetah and hippo. For this tour, you have the option of either doing an open vehicle game drive, or a guided bush walk from one of the private lodges in the reserve, depending on availability.
½ day Rietvlei Nature Reserve Tour
This 4000 hectare Game Reserve close to urban areas provides the perfect break away for anyone short on time, wanting to get a taste of wildlife. Home to the Rietvlei Dam, this reserve has Highveld vegetation, with vlei (wetland) areas, making it perfect for game viewing, bird watching and photography.
Full day Pilanesberg Game Reserve Big 5 Safari
If you are short on time, but still want a wildlife safari experience, this option is ideal. Pilanesberg National Park is a Big 5 game reserve, situated close to Johannesburg (+-2hours drive), in the North West province. Based on an extinct volcanic crater, the park consists of beautiful undulating hills and lush bushveld vegetation, which supports a rich biodiversity.
3 Day Kruger National Park Budget Safari
The world renowned Kruger National Park covers almost twenty thousand square kilometres and is home to the famous Big 5 as well as an abundance of other fauna and flora, including cheetah, wild dogs and hippo. It is also a paradise for bird watching.
